Glen Kratochvil founded Alaska Computer Guy in the summer of 2005 when he realized that small businesses in Anchorage had a need for personalized IT support and computer services. While working as a lab administrator in North Anchorage at an adult learning center, Kratochvil  developed a simple and effective process for securing computers and increasing performance which reduces the need for intensive and costly support services.
