Did you know that you can improve the performance of your computer simply by defragging the hard drive? To defrag, right click on My Computer, select Manage, and click on Disk Defragmenter. Click on the hard disk you want to defrag, and click on the Defragment button.
Then sit back and relax because it can take awhile to defrag but it will notify you when the process is complete. Defragging (computer-speak for defragmenting) speeds up your computer's access to files on the hard drive by sorting all of the data which make up files so it is easier to access.
